Jayne has worked as a class teacher for 15 years, working across both Key Stage 1 and 2. She currently teaches in Year 6, in a primary school in Lancashire, and holds the roles of Mathematics Subject Leader and SENDCo. Jayne has seen the benefits of First4Maths Academy within her own school and is excited to be a part of this positive change within other schools, through her role as a resource writer for the First4Maths Academy. She brings a developed knowledge of progression across the primary mathematics curriculum and an understanding of how resources can be used and adapted to best suit children with SEN, or those who find retention of mathematical skills difficult.
